MAJOR family DEVON, UK, 1750-present
The main centre is CHULMLEIGH in North Devon UK . After the death of a
JOHN MAJOR in 1902 (at the age of 26) there were no more records of
either births or deaths. The family had moved away after being
associated with the area for 150+ years, but branches of the family
moved to the Exeter area.

The family also had links with PLYMOUTH and I have links in the
surrounding areas and elsewhere.

Many of the family must have emigrated to other parts of the world.
