Hi Rose,

the republican army of Baden consisted not only of volunteers but all young
unmarried men in Baden between 18 and 30 years were conscripted.

The conscripted men of Achern had to go to Rastatt to defend the fortress.

Someone of the B-W list offers a lookup for the wanted men of Baden of 1854
but he didn't listed Ferdinand Weber.
But that newspaper not only contains the wanted men but also the names of
emigrants who sold the estate by auction.
