I imagine you had a great time in Denmark. Did you go many places other
than Odense? We've been across that bridge from Sealland (spelling?) to
Odense twice now. We first saw it when there was no roadbed, just the
arches holding up the roadbed. We were on a ferry. The second time we saw
it we sailed under it when we were on a cruise. The third time we saw it we
drove across it.

I have just returned from a trip to Denmark during which I visited
the Archives in Odense and obtained copies of the police report the
suicide by hanging in 1833 in Svendborg of my great-great-grandfather
Hans Hansen. I have posted this report in four sections at The
Danish Connection in the hope of a transcription and translation. I
also got a copy of the police report on the suicide by hanging of his
nephew in 1848. I will post this second report later.
