Pam,

Thank you so much for writing about this book. From Amazon to my Kindle
reader and I am enjoying.
Some one asked about church records for the drowned.

This is from the churchbook in 1769 about my four-times gr-grandfather,
Jens Nielsen (Holm/Thygesen)
1769, July 6. Jens Nielsen from Sønderby was buried, 45 years old. He
drowned on the sea on June 19, together with 20 other men, which were fishing
when a great tempest came over them. The youngest was 18, the oldest was
78. Most were from the same parish.

In his estate it lists the boat as being half owned by Laurs Petersen who
also drowned. This took place in Ringkøbing Inlet
