Thank you for the information.
Katie DAMRON married William Floyd HUBBARD 5 Dec 1875 in
Los Nietos, Los Angeles Co., CA. He was a blacksmith in the Downey city area of LA. They are listed in the 1880 U.S. Census, California, Los Angeles, ED#21, Page 132D, Lines 41-43. Also listed is their son Albert Floyd HUBBARD my great grandfather.
George Washington DAMRON sounds like an interesting lead. Do you know when he died and his wife's name? Could she have remarried and moved to CA?
Are you familiar with the M.W. DAMRON family of Bell Co., TX in the 1860 U.S. Census? U.S. Census, Texas, Bell Co., Belton, page 332, lines 17-20. The hand writing is very hard to read. There is a female child the with the middle initial "C" age 3 and a male child 6 months old. Could this be Catherine? The age time line is correct. Let me know if you have any additional information. Thank you, Charles
