MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL
We wish you all a very blessed Christmas and may the New Year bring you health and happiness.

Recently we have been down in Sydney looking after Mum who underwent hip replacement surgery. Since then she has had other health problems and is unfortunately now back in hospital. On the opposite side of the family other serious problems are surfacing and as our help is needed on both sides of the family we are snowed down with all sorts of things at the moment. As you can understand if you are family people, these things have to take priority.

Let's hope the New Year brings everyone solutions and starts a better year for all in terms of all those things that make our lives happier and brighter.

We have certainly had an eventful year, with a change in place of residence, and, for the both of us, following the sad loss of both our spouses, a new marriage during which much has happened, including a trip around Australia, and camping safari to Cape York and all sorts of interesting changes in our lives. There has never been a dull moment since, the positive side of the whole thing being that it does not give us a chance to remember that we are growing older!

Just for the time being, genealogy research is taking a back seat, but only until all our "unwelcome and unexpected" (if you like!) family events are taken care of. Hope that you will all bear with us patiently until then. We are aware that we are in the middle of unfinished business with quite a number of you and that you have not heard from us for some weeks now. Rest assured your unanswered emails of all kinds are still safely with us and will all be eventually responded to one by one. Thank you all for your continued patience and tolerance in this matter.
