Hi, I sent this message last night and I should have included that
John CURTIS was born in Jan. 1857. He died March 5, 1932.

Thank you Kitty, for pointing that out.

I have never been able to trace my CURTIS line. My great grandfather
was John CURTIS who was born in Waukegan, IL and lived in Chicago.
His parents were James and Margaret (MURPHY) CURTIS, who came from
Tipperary, Ireland.

I recently got a copy of John's obituary, and found out that he had a
brother William P. CURTIS, and a sister, Katherine (CURTIS) MC
CASKEY.

His obituary was copied to the Belvidere, IL papers, so maybe one of
them lived there.

Does anyone know anything about these CURTISs?
