Tom,

I do not have any information on James Curtis in South Carolina. The
information I have is for Fielding Curtis and his wife Charity. He had a
brother John and two sons, Moses and William. Fielding was born in Halifax
County, Va. on 3/1/1757. He lived in Union County, SC until about 1816 at
which time he moved to Monroe County, KY. Sorry that I could not help you with
James Curtis.
