June 26: "There arrived 2 ships out of London, the Hector and the ____. In these came
Mr. Davenport and another minister, and Mr.Eaton and Mr.Hopkins, w merchants of London, men of fair estate an of great esteem for religion and wisdom in outward affairs. In the Hector came also Lord Ley, son and heir of the Lord of Marlborough" (Winthrop's Journal, 1:208,221,222,223)
