Thanks Debi, I had forgotten that Jean was still alive in 1930 (I have
death dates for a number of the children that were sent to me from the
Riverside cemetery records at the Norwalk public library)
It's helpful to have confirmation that Agnes was not in the household in
1930. She's not buried with the rest of the family - at least not before
1934 - so she may have married. Unfortunately she wasn't born in Scotland
so would be a bit hard to find without a married name, I think.

Elizabeth may have moved elsewhere after her marriage, or died before 1930.
Is the 1930 census the only one apart from 1880 with an all-name index? I
gather many are "head of household" only

I had a microfilm of Norwalk county marriage records from the LDS church
but couldn't find Elizabeth's marriage on it - though I am assured that she
did in fact marry, and it appears it was sometime between 1880 and 1900

Regards
Catherine
