Can someone please look up for me in the 1930 census, Mary Littlejohn aged
about 90, born in Scotland. Possibly living with her son Craig who was born
around 1873 in New Jersey, and daughter Agnes born around 1876 in New York.
Agnes may have married as I have information that she disappeared from the
city directory after 1921, so I would like to see if she is still living
with her mother.
Mary also had a son James who mysteriously disappeared after the 1880
census. I think the family disowned him as in 1880 Mary had seven children,
while in 1900 she claimed to have had six children, five still living (one
daughter had died). So, any James Littlejohn anywhere born in Scotland 30
December 1866 is also of interest (of course, he may well have died by 1930)
Also, how difficult would it be to look for Mary's daughter Elizabeth
without a married surname? I wouldn't even consider it except that
Elizabeth was born in Scotland (born 19 October 1870) - how many
Elizabeth's born 1870 in Scotland are there likely to be living in Norwalk
at that time?
I realise some of these may be tough questions, and I would be very happy
just to get the lookup on Mary and her household
Thanks
