Can anyone give me any information on these families? I am working on the
theory that the Crownover family in Henderson County IL is descended from
Robert Covenhoven and Mercy Kelsey Cutter Crane of Lycoming County PA
with their son James having moved there at about the same 1836 timeframe
that Maria Covenhoven (Antes) and her second husband Michael Crane and
some of his children from his first marriage to Ann Pfouts moved there.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Other marriages for Crownovers are Alice to Chas. Reynold 1893 Elizabeth
to Ross Bryson 1878, Lucretia to John Beasley 1844 and Temperance to
Jonathan W. Randall.
