"Kathryn Mary Lee Covington, 81, died Saturday, May 14, 2005. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 16, at Union Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Mark Smith officiated. Ms. Covington was born in Hartsville to the late Claude and Fannie Lyles Covington. She was a member of Union Lutheran Church. Surviving are her sister, Lucille Simmons of batesburg; nieces and nephews."
