This may be a long shot, but I am looking for a living relative by the name of John Patrick Dalgarno. His father has lost his address and trying to contact him. His father is George E Dalgarno of 23 Martin St, Parkfields, Wolverhampton. WV4 6HJ. He would like his son to have his Poetry, Short Stories and Family History, which is all at George's sisters house in Coventry where Paul was born. He is now about 30 and married to an Australian girl. His mother was from Tipperary.

George contacted me after he came across a letter I wrote in a local Roscommon paper tracing family by the names of Fannon and Lyons and wrote to me with details of another local magazine that may let me print the same article. It always amazes me that perfect stranger reach out to help other strangers. This world is not so big after all I think. The mag he suggested is called 'Irelands Own", do you know of it? If so, does it have a web address?

As I said, probably a long shot, but always worth a try I believe. If you have access to local phone books or electoral rolls etc, that would be helpful in finding John. If this is too much trouble or you do not have the time, please let me know and I will write to George explaining I tried at least. He is 68 years of age and has just had a small stroke.

Thank you for your time

Regards

Karen Martin
