Date: Tue, 26 Sep 2006 10:58:11 -0700 (PDT)
Hello all! I just wanted to bring this to everyone's attention! Beginning on
Saturday of this week, the Genealogy Forum (http://www.genealogyforum.org) is
beginning a month long online genealogy conference that will feature many guest
speakers and special chats in celebration of Family History Month. Below is
the press release. Topics included are African American (guest speaker Paul
Heinegg), DNA (speaker Katherine Borges), Irish (speaker David Rencher),
Daughters of the American Revolution [DAR] (speaker Peggy Hill) and many
others! There will also be special chats given by regular hosts including a
weekly fun quiz, and discussions such as the benefits of joining societies.
Also, there will be periodic "Research Parties" where all the available hosts
will pool their resources together on select nights to perform look ups for
you! I personally will have my resources on NC, Bradford surname, and African
American research as well as many many others.
We will be finishing up the month with a special Halloween chat on the Salem
Witch Trials!
See press release below signature!
