Hello everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have links on
my homepages to books at amazon.com and I would appreciate you buying
books through these links. I get a SMALL commission on the purchases
(you don't have to purchase the linked books, but you have to go through
the links in order for the commission) and I am going to donate the
money I earn to rootsweb...there is one catch though...I have to earn at
least $100 in commission before they pay me and so far, I've only earned
$1.77!...this could take awhile! If any of you purchase things from
amazon, it would be great if you'd use the links, and for those who
never do that, this may be something you might want to consider, with
shipping charges, the books are usually no more expensive that if you go
to a book store when you consider the fact that almost every state has
sales tax....it some instances, it could even be cheaper, and amazon
uses a secure server so you don't need to worry about your credit card
info being stolen off the net. Also, like I said above, you don't need
to buy the book that is linked in order for me to receive commission,
you just need to use the link first. Once you've followed the link and
are in amazon, you can search their site by author, subject, or title,
and you can also buy videos, tapes and cd's, not just books. Thanks for
