That's a good idea with the word of the week. As far as if you should
keep posting the answer is YES!!:) There have been over 30 new
subscribers to the Hackett list in just the past 3 months and 10 of
those have been from just the past month. Keep posting your lines to
the list and that is why I suggested that in replacing the word of the
week this week because there have been so many people subscribing to ALL
my lists, not just HACKETT. I am sending this to all the lists because
I have had quite a few already ask me, not just you and I believe this
question is of a general interest to all of the lists, not to just
you:). By the way, here are the new subscriber counts from the last,
no, make that only 2 months...since June 1 when I moved to Raleigh, for
all the lists:

BARRINGER: 45!
BLACK: 60!
BRADFORD: 30!
COVENTRY: 10! (and for the Coventry researchers, I'm sure they realize
this is a LOT of new ones)
ELLER: 40!
HACKETT: 34!
KERN: 28!

As all y'all can see, this is a tremedous growth for the lists (I don't
know the exact numbers that are subscribed, I haven't counted that quite
yet, but even the COVENTRY list, my smallest has 30-something
subscribers!) It is because of all this growth that I am asking people
to either post their lines or post the www address to their lines for
all the new folks to see. We all have a greater chance of making a
connection due to the growth. I know this was a long way to answer your
question, but the bottom line is this: If you post your line and don't
receive a reply, wait about a month and repost it because the average
new subscribers to all the lists are about 10 new people a month and
that means that those are 10 people who haven't seen your post but could
possibly have the same line as you. There is the chance that the new
people one month can't help either, so try again next month. You are
bound to make a connection *sometime* :) Good luck everyone. Please
note that the CAPS are just for emphasis, not shouting:)
