Hi,

Many years ago I received a very confusing page from a"home genealogy". Just
enough information in it has proven to be true that I am still pursuing it.
In my search of the DAVIS line this paper has led me to the surname of
COVINGTON.

It was stated in this paper that Gen. EVAN SHELBY (1720/Wales-1794/TN) m. a
LETITIA COVINGTON.

I have been told by researchers that Gen. EVAN SHELBY was m. to LETITIA COX.

In the genealogy to which I refer (above) LETITIA COVINGTON? COX (b. abt.
1725/NJ-1777/VA) was given as the daughter of:

DAVID COX (d. abt. 1765) and SUSANNA DAVID (b. abt. 1700).

Does anyone have any information to shed light this mystery? I am interested
in finding the parents and siblings of SUSANNA DAVID (b. abt. 1700).
