Kate (Katharina) Fluck of LeMars, Iowa married James Crawford Junkin in November, 1899 and moved to Cripple Creek, CO. A distant relative says he thinks Kate and James met when she ran an ad for a mail order bride. Since James was living in Cripple Creek CO at the time and they moved there after their marriage, I wonder if anyone has access to old newspapers that might have her ad???
