Hello John,
Your document postings were interesting and your work appreciated. On
the apprenticeship Indentures of 4-1-1765 of one Peter Michell, a John
Davy is named as a warden of the Parish of Redruth. What is a warden?
I have an ancestor named John DAVYE living in Redruth at that time
period. He was christened 12 Jan 1722 and Married 4 Jun 1748 to a
Frances MUNDAY. Their daughter Sarah DAVYE forn 1763 in Redruth married
Thomas ROACH 31 Jul 1789 in St. Ives.
Thank you for your work for this list.
Dewey Roach
