I wonder if there is some kind soul in the Redruth area who would be
prepared to have a look for a newspaper report on 10th September 1866 of
an inquest into the death of Henry Hamley who died in the County Prison
in Bodmin on 8th September 1866. I am hoping that it will reveal a
middle name of "Hocking". If it does, then I have hit "pay dirt" in
that it would have been my GGGrandfather. His occupation at the time of
his death was given as "Tailor"
The reason I ask for someone in Redruth is that I understand all the old
newspapers are held there (according to the Cornwall Records Office).
Many thanks for any help.
