Hi Listers,
I have been wondering what composed the three meals a day for our Cornish
ancestors about mid last century. What was the average type of breakfast in
those days. There was no breakfast cereal. Was toast known then ? And how
about a beverage ? Was tea then still too expensive for the average family?
And what was the average lunch and dinner, say, on weekdays and then was
there a difference on week-ends ? Would be most interested to hear.
Cheers
Elizabet
