Yes NANKIVELL is Cornish. They were from the St Columb Major Area as far
as I know, although they did go over the Tamar to Devon - Mary Tavy and
Tavistock then to Sth Australia. Edward NANKIVELL(s) were my gt and my gt
gt grandfathers and went to Moonta in the 1800s. variations of spelling are
NANKIVIL(L), NANCEKIVELL and no doubt others. They are as wide spread as
any cornish family.
