Ok Dot--here goes. Elijah Coffelt and Rachel Carpenter had 7 children 1. Robert married to Mattie Likens
2. George W. Coffelt married to Margaret Dickinson
3. William
4. Amanda married to Robert Bradford
5. Daniel Andrew Coffelt married to Sarah Newcomb (my line)
6. Lucinda Coffelt married to Thomas Beal
7. Rose Ettie Coffelt married to Frank Stevenson
Daniel Andrew Coffelt (above) married Sarah Carpenter
They had 13 children!! Theodore, Harriett, George, Robert, Louis, June, Cora, Rose, Daniel, Pearl, Sarah, Rachel and John. My mother (still living) was Rachel's daughter and remembers the George of this generation. According to her he "died of rotgut" when he was about 19. Going the other direction from Elijah Coffelt and Rachel Carpenter--Elijah's parents were Daniel Coffelt and Peggy Bivens. Daniel and Peggy had 5 children-Nancy, Elijah, Mary, Margaret and Sarah. Rachel's parents were George Carpenter and Elizabeth Ruby. All this and more is posted on genealogy.com to which I also subscribe. I found it by searching all of my mother's aunts. I hit BINGO when I put in June Coffelt and did a search once I hit the tree. Which child of Elijah do you link to. My mother was orphaned at age 10 and I am trying to get pictures of her parents or more info. I am trying to locate the person who created the tree on genealogy.com. She (Rachel) married a Goben.
