I have a Childers family sometimes written as Childress all born we think in TN.
I believe we are looking for William b.c. 1769 was married around 1794 in TN. and
had children William b.c. 1795, Wyatt b.c. 1796, Harrison b.c. 1798 , Lemuel b.c.
1800 and Edmund B. b.c. 1803. All children born TN. Interesting that your
Childress died 1840 as that is when my William died, but in Clay CO. ILL.. I
wonder if this TN. Childress Childers line looks familiar to anyone. Our William
moved to KY, IN. and ILL.
