Joe,
So far as I can tell with my family tree documents that I downloaded, for 9 generations the Charlands lived in the Quebec area. Then from stories from my grandfather mention his dad living in Massachusetts and owning 2 nightclubs there. From the registry that I recently got from my dad doesn't mention where they lived.
