Hello William,

Done a little digging around for you.

The only church in Sheering for which records are held is St Mary’s
http://194.129.26.30/applications/parishrecords/ also www.findachurch.co.uk

The first link was from the Essex County Council website www.essexcc.gov.uk . The county’s records and archives are stored at Chelmsford – but there is a fairly comprehensive searchable online database via the link on the Essex County Council site, that you can log into as a “guest”. There are several parish records online, archived personal name references etc.
