Thanks Holly, as I worked my way through this long list of emails I sort
of thought that might be the problem. I intended to drop out of Ancestry
when my membership expired in July and retest (update) my DNA with Family
Tree DNA. However, when the carter-cousins ship started to list, I thought it
would be best to wait a while on shifting.
I sure hope that carter-cousins can be rescued. I really like it and hate
to see so much work at risk. Thanks to you and all the folks who are
working so hard to a least savage the data.

Family Tree DNA does not have your data. You will have to use Y-Search.
