"I am looking for descendants of George Carlock, b. 1871 in the Park Ridge
area of New Jersey, to John Jacob Carlock and Dora Amos.

I am trying to identify the parentage of Abraham Carlock (Carlough), b.18
Feb 1803; d. 1874; m. to Maria Van Dien on 4 Apr 1829. In 1850 Abraham and
his family were living in New Barbadoes Township, Bergen County, New
Jersey."

Dorothy (Dora) Amos Carlock is my great grandmother. What is really strange
about this is that I had visited the Tappan DRC cemetery back in 1998 and
the church secretary had shared with me a copy of a letter you had wrote to
her, documenting some aspects of the family genealogy. I had meant to write
to you, but never got around to it.
