Would anyone be looking for this family-Saulnier Beausoleil. We believe that we descend from this line. There seems to be 35 to 40 variants of Beausoleil. We have a marriage cert of Ildege Beausoleil that had "dit Saulnier" written in the margin. My great grand father Douphis is listed as a witness.(brother to Ildege) Douphis' son, William Delphis was born at St. Antione Abbey about 1859. No church records to acquire more info- they start at 1865. We have a birth date of 1858 for Ildege-no place. It seems that my research shows Saulnier Beausoleil was a name associated with the St Roch area. The obit for Ildege lists Maxim as the father. I have found a few Maxim names in this lineage but the birth dates wouldn't match. We are looking for a Maxim Saulnier Beausoleil with a birth date of about 1820 to 1838.
