Are you stumped on a problem? Have you done all that you can and still do
not have the answer to your questions? Why does your family not appear in
records when and where they should? What should you do next?

Come and listen to noted Canadian genealogist J. Brian Gilchrist speak to
the Etobicoke Genealogy Group on Thursday November 12 at 7:00 p.m.

His topic is: "Getting around the roadblocks ... looking for routes to
discover your roots" will be a discussion of how to look at documents for
clues and also discuss some resources you may have not have thought of or
know about.

Known for his informative presentations, it is hoped that Brian's words of
motivation may help kick start your research. Gilchrist, who has been
teaching genealogy research and methodology classes since 1974, and is a
respected international authority on the subject, founded the Etobicoke
Genealogy Group in 1986.

The meeting is held in the Etobicoke Civic Centre (399 The West Mall)
located on the south east corner of Burnhamthorpe Road and The West Mall in
Toronto. Parking entrance off of The West Mall south of Burnhamthorpe.
