Subject: [FRONTENAC] Franklin family in Marysville?

Hi Listers:

Would SKS check for a family named FRANKLIN . The senior Franklin had been
in British Army in US but left for Canada, settling around Marysville and
obtained land grants; he is believed to be buried in a cemetery there. A
daughter Caroline would have been born abt 1831. Caroline married Thomas
Devaney abt 1853 and they settled in Port Hope. She died in 1912 in
Toronto and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto.

Not much to go on, but hopefully someone might find this needle in a
haystack. Caroline Devaney (nee Franklin) is my great grandmother and my
brick wall.
