I came across this obituary for John Colwell. His parents were James and Ann Colwell of Camden Township. He had a brother James who remained In Camden. His sister Mary married JOhn Wood , son of Bradford Wood of Camden. He also had sisters Ann, Ellen and a brother William.

"JOHN COLWELL DIES SUDDENLY
JOhn COlwell [86?] died suddenly about 6 p.m. on Thursday at the house of his son Oscar B. Colwell, a local concrete contractor who resides at 1280 Coffeen street Mr Colwell had been in failing health for several years. He was about the houseas usual yesterday morning but late in the afternoon he suffered a heart attack from which he died within a short time.
Mr. Colwell was a native of Newburg, Canada in which village he was born Sept 20 1841. In 1863 when he was 22 years old he came to Watertown and purchased a farm near Chaumont in the Town of Lyme. Seven years later he married Rhoda Blodgett of Chaumont. He spent most of his life since first coming to this country in Jefferson County.
Sveral years after the death of his wife in 1893, he retired from active farming and made his home with his son in this city. His son Oscar B. Colwell, 1280 Coffeen street is his sole survivor.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed."
