I have just learned that my grandfather William Thomas Bussell
DOB:1/5/1871 died 1/24/l932 AR. married my grandmother Bonnie Rutherford
on Aug.5,l918 in Selene County, AR . he was around 47 yrs of age and she
was around 25 yrs of age.. I have tried to find info on this marriage,
but could not..I believe I was miss informed of his birth place, its
seems a member of family believes he was born in Benton, AR (selene co.)
Now what is so strange about this is the age at the time of his marriage
to my grandmother?? I find it really usual he was 47 yrs old at time of
their marriage? am wondering if possible he was married to another? No
one in family seems to know, I have found someone in family who will be
sending me info on the Rutherford side (grandmother) and he has the
actual marriage license of my grandparents.. I am going to list William
Thomas Busssell's brothers and sister here once again.. in case anyone
has any info on them that might help.. He had 2 brothers.. Sam Thomas
Bussell.. lived in AR (Jefferson County) his wifes name was Jenny..the
other brother was George Thomas Bussell he settled in Portland OR. that
is all I know about him.. 2 sisters..Hudley Bussell she married a Baker
..they lived in South ARkansas.. Olive Bussell married a Getter. live in
South ARkansas any info would be appreciated..
