That's fine with me, Mary.

Quite a number of the FW tenants who got assisted emigration were C of I.

The FW record pages that show a "Mr. Brownrigg" as head tenant were in Moylisha, Moyacomb parish. And there was a Jno. Brownrigg renting out a cabin in Toberpatrick, Kilpipe parish, as well.

Hi, Anne: this is very interesting....I'm not sure who Peter is...or how connected, but I do know that in the Kilcommon Parish cemetery, at Tinahely, there are both Brownrigg's (my line) and Byrnes....but I haven't seen a connection between the two before. My Brownrigg's are COI....does this make a difference with what you have?
If you don't mind, I'd like to send this on to the Brownrigg list and see what pops up?
thanks,
m

Hi Mary,

Thanks very much for your encouragement. There is a Brownrigg family (attached) on the list of Fitzwilliam tenants who got assisted emigration, and I also see some Brownriggs as sort of head tenants, sub-leasing to Byrnes, etc.

If you know where the attached Brownrigg family ended up, I'd be grateful for the information.

Anne
