Bill:
I am brand new at this site and stumbled on it because I have Riddle blood
in me and was told this site existed. I am glad I did for I have a
GGgrandfather who is full blooded Cherokee Indian. When they gave the land
grants out in OK he did not go and get it. I have pictures of him and his
brother William and they have the appearance of Indian Blood.
My GGgrandfather was b. Feb. 7, 1857 in Findlay Ohio. He is the son of
William and Sarah E.Hill Brewer.
All I know is his one brother for they both ended up in the Hannibal Mo.
Marion Co. Mo. area.
John married a Hester (Hattie) Wardell Rogers in Hannibal Mo. in 1878 and I
have the original marriage certificate. I just discovered this site and
really don't know much of what I am doing other then clicking on the
message content. I don't know how to get into the digest or even how to
subscribe to the site. Maybe you can help? I have loads of information
from John on down to me and would be willing to share with anyone who would
like to share. Let me know.
