Looking for any information on the family of Jonathan Miller born 1759 Funkstown, Washington Co., Md., as young boy moved to Uniontown and Brownsville, Fayette Co., Pa., married Mary Hickman and moved to Knox Co., Ohio in 1813. He was Brethren and associated with Ludwig Miller who lived on Dunlap Creek. I don't find any Millers on initial tax lists for Fayette Co. that could have been his father. However, there was an Alexander Miller on the Springhill Twp., Bedford Co., Pa. 1773 tax. At that time Springhill would have included what became Manellen/Luzerne/Redstone Twps. where Jonathan lived. Does anyone know anything about this Alexander and whether he could have been Jonathan's father? My David Miller was in the same area c1780 before moving to Someset Twp. of Washington Co., Pa. He then moved to West Bethlehem Twp. before migrating to Nelson Co., Ky. in 1794. Based on DNA tests David and Jonathan could have been related. Just don't know how they were related.
