My husband is a Tarvin. The head honcho guy-who-knows-everybody is Gary
offman, and I'm sure he'd put out the word if you asked.

r. Elmore,

A portion (pages numbered 31 - 74) of the 1990 edition is on-line @
http://www.tarvinfamily.org/AlleghenyPassage.pdf

Perhaps someone who is a member of the below organization has a copy.

Hi friends and fellow Brethren,

I'm the Executive Minister of the West Marva District of the Church of the
Brethren. Emmert Bittinger has granted us permission to print a new edition of
Allegheny Passage. Neither he, nor anyone we know, has an actual copy of the
latest edition with the publication date of 1994. Even the publisher doesn't
have one.

It will save us a considerable amount of time and money if we can obtain a
copy. The only ones we do have are previous editions which do not contain the
corrections and additions made in the 1994 edition. We are interested in
borrowing a good copy, but if that fails, we would consider buying one. Another
option would be to trade an ucirculated copy of this upcoming 2012 edition (with

n appendix with some updates) for a good copy.

Any help would be appreciated. Any of you who might be unacquainted with this
book, it is a wonderful resource both of the history of the development of our
district and a wonderful genealogical resource as well.

Blessings to you all,
Kendal W. Elmore
