I did a search (index Alexander Mack Ankrum) and found the following index

ameindex.html_
(http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~thomasliby/ankrum/ankrumnameindex.html)
Good luck,

Richard,
I don't believe that the Ankrum book has ever had an index. The book was
actually originally published in 1943, so you may be looking at a
republishing of the book. I believe that I saw an index of the book that
someone -- not Rev. Ankrum -- had compiled and placed on an Internet
website. My memory of this isn't too clear but I may see if I can find
it again.
