Margaret,

No. The Jacob Spitler you reference was the son of Jacob Spitler 2nd and
his first wife Salome "Sally" Dillman who were most likely married in York
Co PA, moved to Rockingham Co and finally Botetourt Co VA where Jacob 2nd
died in 1820. Jacob 3rd wed 21 Sep 1800 in Augusta Co VA by Daniel Garber,
Elizabeth Crist a daughter of Andrew Crist and Elizabeth unknown. They
lived in Augusta County where he passed in 1840 and she in 1864. I know of
two sons, John and Jacob Crist Spitler and wonder if there was a daughter
Elizabeth or perhaps others. I am most interested in learning more of this
family.

Gale Edwin Spitler Honeyman
