the majority of the United Brethren in Christ churches became United
Methodist Churches in 1968, so start with local churches there. There is still
an United Brethren in Christ Church denomination, so check to see if this
was one that with which split.
the UB are not affiliated with the Church of the Brethren.

Where would I find records of United Brethren in Christ for the
Frederick, Maryland area?

Specifically, I am searching for proof of a marriage between Mary
Kessler and James Wonderland around 1835 in what is now northern Blair
county, Pennsylvania. To that end, I am looking for proof that Mary
was the daughter of Peter Kessler and Anna Smith who, according to
Kephart's biography of Jacob Smith Kessler, were contemporaries of
Otterbein. Jacob Smith Kessler was the son of Peter and Anna.
