Does anyone have information about a Johannes
Cauvey/Cabe/Gabe/Carver/Garver? This person was in Lincoln County, NC by
1789 or so. Some of his descendants went to Cape Girardeau area Missouri.
There is a notation that an Elender Cauvey was baptized by a Rev. JOhn
Carvey/Carver. Is this the Garber/Carver family of which you are
discussing?
