There is a William Hoover b. 1852 married to a "Rena" in the 1880
Census for District 27, Garrett, Somerset County, PA. Her birth date
is about the same as Williams. Your date indicates she is 5 years
older than he is. William works for the Railroad. Worth checking out.

Nothing in the Hoover HIstory by the Mennonite Press; nor in the
Herbert Hoover book.

William Hoover was born 13 FEB 1852 in , Somerset, PA, and died 13 SEP
1913 in , Somerset, PA. He married Ruena Christner BEF 1869 in ,
Somerset, PA, daughter of Moses Christner and Mary Nicklow. She was
born 15 DEC 1847 in , Somerset, PA, and died ABT 1921 in , Somerset, PA.

Children of William Hoover and Ruena Christner are:

DEC 1944 in , Somerset, PA.
