Galen,
I was born in So. CA. but now am in SC.
I put off getting a new computer. My son was coming down on the Sunday
before Vista was to be sold. I went thru a year of the new XP and did not
want Vista until it was working well. They took all of the XP computers and
the programs off the shelves on Saturday. On Sunday, there were no computers
to buy.
A couple of weeks later, I stopped to see if the person who had worked on my
computer could help me. He laughed said wait a minute and came back with a
box of XP programs. He had more also. He also had floppy drives.
I now have everything I need plus more than I will ever use for three to
four hundred dollars less than a store bought.
I imagine there is someone like him to has a new drive for your floppies. I
had some that were 10 years old I was not ready to use yet.
The first thing after I had the new one, put in a floppy. Works great like
the entire computer.

Good Luck,
Mary Ann R.
