I can understand why EMU doesn't have a record of this church if the source
you list is providing infant baptism records from a Mennonite Church. That
is like listing the Lutheran Popes.....ain't no such thing!

I felt I owe the list a follow up to my question.

"Lauck's Mennonite Church," is cited by Keith A. Dull, in "Early German
Settlers of York County, Pennsylvania," 2000 ed., and he references a
number of
baptisms at "Lauck's Mennonite Church," for the Sprenckel (Manchester Twp)
and Strickler families (Hellam Twp) in York County, probably others. These

appear to be infant baptisms.

I've spoke with:
- the Librarian at the Historical Library, Eastern Mennonite University.
- the Archivist at the EMU Archives.
- a Historian at the Lancaster PA Mennonite Historical Society,
- a Historian at the York County Heritage Trust (Historical Society),
- And the editors of the "Mennonite Family History," Magazine.

None of them have heard of this congregation or Minister, and I have not
been able to contact Keith A. Dull. He does not indicate in his sources
the
original location of the record he is citing.

So, I still don't have an answer, other than I know where the records are
not found, and this still leaves me wondering what the original source is.

Regards,
Glen Swartz

Can anyone tell me anything about, "Lauck's Mennonite Church"? Or more
particularly were it was located, if this was the name of the congregation,
or
minister, ...
