Thank you Merle. Your comments help, and it appears nothing in your records
conflict with what I propose for Gen II-III.

I'm just taking this one person at a time. While I have more notes in the
background, I can't address much more than one individual at a time before I
reach overload. All it takes is one error and everything else I have
collapses.

You and I are also addressing this from two differing genealogical
approaches. You are working your genealogy back, and I have an immigrant for whom I'm
trying to find the descendants. If everything lines up right, I have a
match, otherwise I have more research to do.

Yes, I have revised the father of Abraham Stump (of Canada) as Abraham Stump
Sr. This is based on an historical record in Northumberland County which
states that Abraham Stump Sr (NOT a resident) help establish the Reformed(or
Lutheran? - now where did I put that note I wrote?) Church in Straubstown
(later Stoupstown, now Freeburg)(daughter Elizabeth was born here, 1788). It also
spoke of his son Abraham as resident. It does look probable for that date
and place for Abraham's
birth (b. 1764 Heidelberg Twp, Lancaster Co, PA)
