Now I do have a problem - my information is not correct! - I need help
and correction

If my dates are correct, this John cannot be the son of Samuel P Garber
and Catherine Diehl - he is too old to be their child, is he a brother?
My original information was that wife Barbara Zook died 1808 in Clermont
Co OH. This Barbara Zook is not the correct wife, unless she was a
second marriage (with the same name?) I find I have collected three
different family sheets - with somewhat different information on each!

John GARBER........................................Barbara ZOOK
b. 17 Jan 1758 York Co PA..........................b. 17 Feb 1781
d. 10 Sept/Nov 1814 Champaign Co OH................d. 1826 Camden, OH
f. Samuel Garber...................................f. Henry Zook
m. Catherine Diehl.................................m. Barbara Kurtz
ch:
....Nancy......(c1770-
....Jacob......(c1772-
....Barbara....(1774-1877)...m. 1805, John Ritter
....Daniel.....(1776-1831)...m........Barbara Kulp........Logan Co OH
....Elizabeth..(c1780-
....Abraham....(c1781-c1881).m........Catherine
....Magdalene..(1784-1866)..1/m.......Peter Minnich.....Clark Co OH
............................2/m.......Daniel Frantz
....Mary.......(1790-1868)...m. 1801, Paul Custer.......Dublin, IN
....Joseph
....Samuel...................m........Elizabeth Troutman
....John.................................................Wayne Co IN
to Carolina
to Jessamine Co KY
to Clermont Co OH, first minister, Obannon Creek (c1795)
to Champaigne Co OH - Donnels Creek Church - 1805, Elder
(moved there soon before 1814 -death)

I have family sheets on Daniel and Barbara (Kulp)Garber, and on Paul and
Mary (Garber) Custer.
Mary was born in North Carolina, and married in Jessamine Co KY
her son Samuel (in a 1902 family paper) says that John Garber and the
family were Eternal Restorationists (Brethren Pietist Universalists - a
church problem in the Carolinas in the 1700s)

from what I heard, the Garber website has this Samuel Garber as the son
of Nicholas Gerber, and Elder John Garber married to Barbara Miller, the
son of Hans Gerber. It has Hans and Nicholas as brothers (will’s
processed the same day, and with the same executor). It notes that
Nicholas and Hans were both Mennonites. The wife of Nicholas re-married
Michael Miller, who was the father of Barbara Miller.

does anyone have exact information?
