Bill, I only know about the Frantz/France families that existed during the
horse and buggy era. However, the relatives of Bill France Sr. (born 1909)
who started NASCAR must not be into genealogy cause he is not listed in
Rootsweb WorldConnect. Also, I hear that Bill France Jr. is no longer
running NASCAR.
If truth be known, I know next to nothing about NASCAR, but I do know about
NASTAR as I finished first in the over-70 division of a sanctioned NASTAR
slalom race at Gunstock Mountain this past winter. If truth be known, I was
the only over-70 competitor in the race, but there were 32 other competitors
under age 60, six of them with worse times than my own.
