Since I own a copy of both the 1920 (Jesse O. Garst) edition and the 2007
(A. Wayne Webb) edition, I can vouch that both are wonderful but that the
new 2007 edition has several advantages over the older edition, one being a
vastly more complete index of all the names and places in the book, another
being an errata correcting some of the errors of the first edition, and
another being an addition of the Virginia Conference of 1811 which was so
important in the development of the Miami Valley Churches early in their
history. These three additions are all at the end of the new edition
following Mr. Webb's faithful reproduction of the Elder Garst's edition,
with one exception: The pages in the new edition are smaller mostly due to
smaller margin sizes. Both editions are easy to read.
