Does anyone know of a Rev. Richard Cottrell who was the pastor at the Piqua
COB in 1973? One of my family lines is Cottrell. When my son who is a
Missionary minister had his adopted daughter and the baby dedicated last
month, the minister, their district superintendent, gave them a Dedication
Certificate. They were surprised because they did not receive them with the
oldest two boys.

I told them I was sure that we had gotten one (he was raised COB but
switched as a teenage because they had Bible Quizzing competitions)when he
and his siblings were dedicated. I was able to find them and showed him at
Christmas and was surprised that the preacher was Rev. Richard Cottrell.
Now I would like to find out if and how he might be related. There are some
in Darke Co that are Old Orders, so I am thinking he might be of that line
but could be from California for all I know.

Also, is there a directory online of active pastors?
